Earlier this year, a cross-functional team of Chemence professionals completed a months-long project to obtain ISO 14001 and 45001 certifications for Chemence Performance Materials. Building upon the successes of its ISO 9001-certified quality management system for pursuit of excellence, the organization demonstrated its honest commitment towards minimizing its environmental impact and promoting the safety and health of its employees. With ownership at all levels of the organization, the company is guided by the framework of these ISO standards to continually improve its delivery of products and services with safety, quality, and the environment in mind. Let by Hugo Escobar, Chemence’s Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist, the team included members from Chemence operations and Chemence Quality, Chemence R&D and Chemence HR. This outstanding team will push to expand this certification to other Chemence facilities in late 2021.
